Abstract


Abstrak:  Satu pertanyaan dasar tentang etika perpajakan adalah apa yang membuat pajak atau sistem pajak itu adil dan pantas? Artikel ini akan meninjau secara filosofis-etis kebebasan warga negara dan keadilan serta kepantasan dalam perpajakan. Dan secara khusus bagi orang Kristen, Alkitab akan digunakan sebagai dasar untuk menunjukkan tanggung jawab orang percaya dalam membayar pajak bahkan ketika pajak yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah itu ternyata secara etis tidak adil dan/atau tidaklah pantas.
