Previous research has identified six dimensions of integrity -Christological, spiritual-moral, formational, pedagogical, communal, and ethical-administrative- but treats them separately. Through qualitative analysis and exegetical reading of the text, this research develops an integrative model that reveals four axes of formation: exemplary life, spiritual discipline, communal affirmation, and the balance between teaching and living. These four axes converge within a holistic theological framework, affirming that the integrity of spiritual leadership is not merely moral or administrative, but emerges from the unity of orthodoxy and orthopraxy. The study asserts that authentic Christian leadership grows through personal discipline in the Word, communal affirmation, and perseverance in sound teaching. The findings provide a theological foundation for churches and theological institutions to situate leadership formation as an integrated process of faith, community, and doctrine.

Keywords: church leadership; integrity; theological formation; 1 Timothy 4:12-16, orthodoxy; orthopraxy.

2026-07-28T09:20:50+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 SOLA GRATIA: Jurnal Teologi Biblika dan Praktikahttps://sttaletheia.ac.id/e-journal/index.php/solagratia/article/view/441PARADIGMA PANCA SOLA REFORMASI DALAM STRATEGI PENCEGAHAN KEKERASAN DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH2026-08-07T20:02:51+07:00Timotius Adrianadriantimotius6@gmail.comTri Ratno Wahonobapakeellannala@gmail.com
This study examines the paradigm of Reformation theology as a strategy for preventing violence in Christian school settings through an integrative theological and psychological approach. Bullying is understood not merely as an individual behavioral problem, but as a power relation that violates human dignity as Imago Dei. Using a qualitative theological method informed by a literature review, this research reinterprets the principles of the Reformation Solas as axiological foundations for the formation of an anti-violent character. The novelty of this study lies in integrating Reformation values with modern psychological approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychological First Aid (PFA), as practical frameworks for relational restoration in education. The findings indicate that this paradigm fosters a school habitus grounded in love, justice, and restoration rather than coercive discipline. Therefore, the integration of the Five Solas with CBT and PFA offers a restorative pedagogical model relevant to building a safe, empathetic, and God-glorifying educational ecosystem.
2026-07-28T09:22:26+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 SOLA GRATIA: Jurnal Teologi Biblika dan Praktikahttps://sttaletheia.ac.id/e-journal/index.php/solagratia/article/view/475ETIKA KRISTEN DAN FINTECH: PENATALAYANAN BERKEADILAN DALAM EKONOMI DIGITAL INDONESIA2026-08-07T19:59:26+07:00Iman Kristina Halawaimankristinahalawasttab@gmail.com
This study analyzes the implementation of Christian ethical values in equitable financial technology (fintech) governance in Indonesia. Although fintech has expanded financial inclusion, it also raises ethical challenges, including unequal access, algorithmic bias, and insufficient protection for vulnerable groups. Research integrating Christian theology into fintech governance remains limited. This qualitative study employs a descriptive-critical literature review based on Christian social ethics, emphasizing stewardship, justice, and social responsibility. The findings indicate that equitable fintech governance requires integrating ethical values into digital systems through transparency, accountability, and preferential concern for vulnerable groups. The study introduces the concept of digital stewardship ethics as an integrative framework linking technological innovation with moral responsibility. It concludes that equitable fintech development depends on inclusive multi-stakeholder governance involving regulators, industry, and society. Accordingly, fintech should function not only as an economic instrument but also as a means of advancing social justice and inclusive digital transformation.
2026-07-28T09:23:17+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 SOLA GRATIA: Jurnal Teologi Biblika dan Praktikahttps://sttaletheia.ac.id/e-journal/index.php/solagratia/article/view/478EKSEGESIS GRAMATIKAL-HISTORIS YUNUS 2:2: REINTEPRETASI FUNGSI IKAN BESAR SEBAGAI INSTRUMEN KESELAMATAN2026-08-07T19:57:49+07:00Carel Hot Asi Siburiansiburiancarel@gmail.com
This study presents an in-depth analysis of the narrative of the prophet Jonah through a grammatical-historical exegetical approach, particularly in the text of Jonah 2:2. This analysis challenges the conventional paradigm that views the great fish as an instrument of punishment for Jonah’s escape from the divine call. By dissecting the original Hebrew linguistic structure, it is found that the use of the perfect tense verb (qatal) indicates that Jonah’s prayer in the belly of the fish is not a request for forgiveness, but rather a hymn of thanksgiving for the salvation he had experienced earlier in the depths of the sea. This chronological shift indicates that the great fish functions as a “lifeboat” sent by God to prevent Jonah’s death by drowning. The theological implications reveal that Jonah's obedience in Nineveh in chapter three is the fulfillment of a “vow” for physical salvation, not a manifestation of sincere repentance. This explains Jonah’s inconsistency in chapter four, where he rejects grace for other nations, while also emphasizing the sovereignty of God's love that transcends human religious exclusivism.
2026-07-28T09:24:28+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 SOLA GRATIA: Jurnal Teologi Biblika dan Praktikahttps://sttaletheia.ac.id/e-journal/index.php/solagratia/article/view/484MENDIDIK DAN MENGASUH: PENERAPAN KONSEP GEREJA SEBAGAI IBU DALAM PEMIKIRAN YOHANES CALVIN DAN TANTANGANNYA DI GMIT GIBEON-BONE2026-08-07T19:54:54+07:00Eritrika A. Employing a qualitative case study with interviews involving five key church leaders and members, the study explores how this ecclesiological concept is practiced and the challenges it faces in interdenominational relationships. The findings indicate that the congregation continues to understand the church as a nurturing community that forms believers through Christ’s love and teaching despite the realities of denominational diversity. The study addresses the limited discussion of the church-as-mother metaphor in Indonesian Reformed congregations and offers a novel reading of Calvin’s ecclesiology as a nurturing, formative, and corrective model for strengthening the faith life of the GMIT Gibeon Bone congregation.
2026-07-28T09:25:03+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 SOLA GRATIA: Jurnal Teologi Biblika dan Praktikahttps://sttaletheia.ac.id/e-journal/index.php/solagratia/article/view/442ANALISIS TEOLOGIS-KRITIS DALAM PRAKTIK IBADAH GEREJA KONTEMPORER BERDASARKAN PRINSIP SOLA SCRIPTURA2026-08-07T20:01:08+07:00Fa'ahakhododo Halawafaahakhododohalawa2@gmail.com
The phenomenon of contemporary church worship reveals a shift in its orientation and purpose, increasingly shaped by pragmatic demands, cultural preferences, and contextual needs. This development creates theological tension between contextualization and biblical faithfulness centered on the Triune God. The novelty of this study lies in proposing a critical-theological framework that systematically identifies previously unmapped forms of worship profanation and establishes Sola Scriptura as the primary evaluative principle for interpreting biblical worship. This study employs a critical literature review by examining relevant scholarly sources. The findings demonstrate that every form and expression of contemporary church worship must be consistently grounded in Scripture as the supreme authority and norma normans of Christian faith. Rather than functioning merely as a complementary element in the liturgy, Scripture serves as the absolute foundation that determines the orientation, purpose, and theological integrity of worship practices.
2026-07-28T09:25:52+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 SOLA GRATIA: Jurnal Teologi Biblika dan Praktikahttps://sttaletheia.ac.id/e-journal/index.php/solagratia/article/view/481PENGAMPUNAN SEBAGAI SARANA PEMULIHAN KOMUNITAS: KAJIAN HERMENEUTIS TERHADAP 2 KORINTUS 2:5-112026-08-07T19:56:28+07:00Nikita Sitanggangnikitanatalia07@gmail.comSalomo Sihombingsalomo.sihombing9@stttrinity.id
This article examines the significance of forgiveness as a means of community restoration based on 2 Corinthians 2:5–11. Against the backdrop of conflict within the Corinthian church, Paul presents forgiveness toward the offending individual as the path to restoration and shared joy. This study employs a qualitative method using a historical-grammatical exegetical approach to interpret the text according to the author's intended meaning. An analysis of the key term χαρίζομαι (charizomai) demonstrates that forgiveness is understood as an act of grace that restores relationships. The findings indicate that the disciplinary action imposed on the offender was sufficient to bring about repentance. Therefore, the congregation is called to forgive, comfort, and reaffirm the repentant individual to prevent overwhelming sorrow. Thus, forgiveness serves as an expression of love that preserves the unity of the church and restores relationships within the Christian community.
2026-07-28T09:26:39+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 SOLA GRATIA: Jurnal Teologi Biblika dan Praktika
