ETIKA KRISTEN DAN FINTECH: PENATALAYANAN BERKEADILAN DALAM EKONOMI DIGITAL INDONESIA
Abstract
This study analyzes the implementation of Christian ethical values in equitable financial technology (fintech) governance in Indonesia. Although fintech has expanded financial inclusion, it also raises ethical challenges, including unequal access, algorithmic bias, and insufficient protection for vulnerable groups. Research integrating Christian theology into fintech governance remains limited. This qualitative study employs a descriptive-critical literature review based on Christian social ethics, emphasizing stewardship, justice, and social responsibility. The findings indicate that equitable fintech governance requires integrating ethical values into digital systems through transparency, accountability, and preferential concern for vulnerable groups. The study introduces the concept of digital stewardship ethics as an integrative framework linking technological innovation with moral responsibility. It concludes that equitable fintech development depends on inclusive multi-stakeholder governance involving regulators, industry, and society. Accordingly, fintech should function not only as an economic instrument but also as a means of advancing social justice and inclusive digital transformation.References
